This SMS Privacy Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and describes how Direct Key Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") collects and uses information in connection with text message (SMS) communications sent to customers who opt in to receive them.

Program description

Program name: Direct Key Solutions Service Notifications

When you opt in, we may send text messages related to your automotive locksmith service, including:

  • Appointment confirmations and scheduling updates
  • Technician en-route and arrival notifications
  • Service completion summaries
  • Follow-up requests for feedback or incomplete service details

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program unless you separately opt in to marketing messages.

Information we collect for SMS

  • Mobile phone number you provide when opting in
  • Opt-in timestamp and method (web form, verbal consent, written agreement)
  • Message delivery and engagement metadata (sent, delivered, failed)
  • Your STOP, HELP, or other keyword responses

Message frequency varies based on your active service requests. Typically, you may receive 1–5 messages per appointment. Additional messages may be sent if your service requires rescheduling or follow-up.

Your rights and choices

  • Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from SMS notifications. You will receive one confirmation message.
  • Help: Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at [email protected] or (864) 385-2613.
  • Re-enroll: After opting out, you may opt in again by contacting us or using our booking channels when available.

Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to receive service by phone or email.

Data retention

We retain SMS consent records, message logs, and opt-out requests for as long as necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations and carrier requirements, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect SMS-related data. Message content is transmitted through encrypted channels where supported by carriers and our providers.

Carrier charges

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
